Meet SOLYTE: A Tea Brand Blending Natural Wellness with Purpose

Visitors to Manning Road Farmers Market can welcome a new stall offering a calming, wellness-focused experience. That stall belongs to Stephenie Borowiec, a student naturopath and founder of SOLYTE, a tea business that combines herbal knowledge with a commitment to supporting natural health.

SOLYTE has only been in operation for three months, but the brand is already gaining attention for its thoughtful, functional tea blends and community-driven ethos. With a background in natural health and a deep interest in herbal remedies, Stephenie created SOLYTE to address some of the frustrations she observed in the health industry—particularly its tendency to prioritise cures over prevention and profit over people.

Her approach is simple: create high-quality, natural products that support the body’s ability to heal and thrive, while fostering genuine community connections through education and accessible wellness practices.

From Passion to Purpose

Before starting SOLYTE, Stephenie completed a yoga teaching course and several certificates in natural health. These studies laid the groundwork for her journey into naturopathy and helped shape the vision behind the business.

Her passion for tea was the perfect match for her health background, allowing her to create products that are as enjoyable as they are beneficial. Today, she runs SOLYTE full-time alongside her partner and cofounder, Mark Lori, who plays a key role in the business—designing the brand’s eye-catching packaging and supporting day-to-day operations behind the scenes to help bring their shared vision to life.

Each tea blend is handmade with organic ingredients and designed to align with specific health goals—whether it’s boosting energy, improving focus, supporting digestion, or helping with sleep. The attention to detail in the blends, along with their visual appeal and elegant packaging, is what sets SOLYTE apart.

Customer Favourites and Functional Benefits

Among the standout blends in the SOLYTE range are Sleep and Gut Health.

The Sleep blend includes calming herbs such as lavender and valerian root, known for their natural relaxation properties. Meanwhile, the Gut Health blend features fermented green tea as a primary ingredient, chosen for its potential to support a healthy gut microbiome.

These two blends have quickly become customer favourites. Stephenie shared that one customer got in touch after trying the Sleep blend to say it had helped transform her night-time routine and improve her sleep quality—highlighting just how impactful a well-crafted tea can be.

The current SOLYTE range also includes blends aimed at energy, focus, detoxing, and supporting women’s health. Each one has been carefully formulated to offer a delicious and health-conscious experience.

Growing the Brand and Looking Ahead

Building SOLYTE from the ground up has been one of Stephenie’s proudest achievements so far. She has clear goals for the future, including expanding the product range and forming wholesale partnerships with health food stores, spas, and cafes.

Customers can already find SOLYTE blends stocked at several Perth businesses including Hunter & Fleur Cafe, The Prophet Cafe, Annasha Day Spa, and Earth Wholefoods, with more locations to come. Products are also available for online purchase through the SOLYTE website.

Looking ahead, Stephenie plans to continue sharing what she’s learning in her naturopathy studies through community education, collaborations, and by introducing new wellness products. While she hinted at a new product currently in development, she’s keeping details under wraps for now.

Supporting the Local Community

Beyond markets and stockists, Stephenie is committed to contributing to the wider wellness community. By sourcing ingredients locally where possible and offering free samples at her stall, she ensures SOLYTE is accessible, engaging, and supportive of local growers and suppliers.

She also collaborates with a number of small businesses, including cafes, spas, and health shops, helping to amplify a shared message of wellness, natural living, and community empowerment.
